Job Title: SQL Developer

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 7-9 Years

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and ETL processes.
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development and data analysis.
Perform data modeling and database schema design to ensure optimal data storage and retrieval.
Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and other performance tuning techniques.
Collaborate with application developers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver database solutions that meet business needs.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for data governance and security.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation for database designs, processes, and procedures.
Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to SQL Server and database management.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience as an SQL Server Developer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including writing complex queries and optimizing performance.
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with database administration tasks, including backups, restores, and security measures.
Experience working with large datasets and implementing data quality strategies.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud-based database services (e.g., Azure SQL Managed Instance).
Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., NoSQL databases) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
