Job Title: SAP FICO Architect

Location: Wroclaw, Poland

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Architect to lead the design, integration, and implementation of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) solutions within a discrete manufacturing (hi-tech) environment. The ideal candidate should have deep functional and technical expertise in SAP FICO, hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA 2021, and a strong understanding of financial business processes. You will play a key leadership role in SAP digital transformation initiatives and support complex integration scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end implementation and integration of SAP FICO solutions in S/4HANA 2021 for digital transformation projects.
• Conduct workshops and collaborate with key stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Design and configure FICO processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
• Drive solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices.
• Manage development and deployment of custom enhancements in SAP FICO.
• Support SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation initiatives.
• Provide advisory and consulting services for both greenfield and brownfield implementations.
• Conduct knowledge transfer, user training, and provide ongoing support.
• Ensure integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
• Support finance month-end close processes, settlements, and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Apply ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA 2021 (must-have).
• Deep knowledge in FICO modules: GL, AR, AP, AA, CO-OM, CO-PC, and CO-PA.
• Experience in discrete manufacturing domain (preferably Hi-Tech sector).
• Familiar with preventative maintenance, technical object configuration, and order processing.
• Proven track record in delivering scalable and compliant financial solutions.
• Familiarity with integration across MM, SD, and PP modules.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, period-end closing, and compliance handling.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client workshop facilitation skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to analytics tools and digital transformation platforms.
• Experience with custom development oversight and change management.
• Knowledge of data migration, SAP Activate methodology, and Fiori apps.
• Understanding of SAP BI or related business intelligence tools.
