Summary

A direct client of Robert Half, a high-growth SaaS startup in San Francisco, is seeking a Salesforce Business Systems Analyst / Admin to support their GTM initiatives. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a hands-on, strategic Salesforce professional who brings both Admin and BSA experience, with a strong focus on sales enablement and partner sales workflows. The ideal candidate has both Salesforce certifications as well as demonstrable experience on the platform, is capable of configuring and designing solutions, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll partner with sales and RevOps stakeholders to optimize tools like Clay, Outreach, and Gong, and be a key player in the evolution of their Salesforce Sales Cloud and Partner Portal environments.


Day to Day:

  • Serve as a Salesforce SME across GTM teams (excluding CPQ)
  • Own configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Partner Portal
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable solutions, then hand off to dev team for implementation
  • Manage integrations and support tooling for Clay, Outreach, and Gong
  • Champion documentation of business processes and system configurations
  • Support partner sales workflows and enhance partner experience via Salesforce
  • Maintain a proactive, solution-oriented mindset – help triage issues and drive ongoing improvements
  • Act as a hybrid Admin and BSA – wear both hats comfortably in a lean team
  • Foster collaboration via Slack and regular hybrid meetings (on-site preferred Mondays and Thursdays; open to 1x/week for strong candidates)


Musts:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator; other certifications a plus
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud and Partner Portal
  • configuration and process improvement
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating into technical specs or dev handoffs
  • Familiarity with tools:
  • Clay
  • Outreach
  • Gong
  • Startup experience highly preferred – someone comfortable operating without a big team
  • Strong soft skills — kind, professional, and easy to work with
  • Acts like a full-time team member, not a contractor
  • Excellent documentation habits and process-oriented thinking
  • Experience working with fractional BSAs or in matrixed environments a plus
  • SaaS background required
