Job Title: Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager and Business Development Manager to develop and execute plans to win new business.
• Track new business opportunities.
• Serve as the primary customer interface throughout the new business cycle.
• Build and foster strong customer relationships and influence purchase decisions.
• Manage the new business pipeline and drive opportunities through the funnel with the Business Unit Manager and sales team.
• Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, conventions, conferences, and seminars.
• Meet with customers to understand their requirements, assist in specification development, share technical information, and promote the value of the company and its products.
• Develop an understanding of each account, including contacts, current product needs, future requirements, procurement, and selection process.
• Provide written trip reports and meeting minutes as necessary.
• Plan and organize travel schedule using a Time and Territory Management tool.
• Contribute to sales forecasting, annual and long-term business planning, and product line strategy development.
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as requested by the Business Unit Manager and Vice President of Sales.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $55.29/hr.
