Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Sales Manager to join our team and lead sales initiatives for our
enterprise and campus network solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure sales, particularly in networking solutions, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth across
Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve targets for
network solutions and
network infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share in the enterprise networking and campus network solutions sectors.
- Identify target industries such as education, corporate enterprises, and government institutions for network design, WAN/LAN solutions, Wi-Fi networks, and network security systems.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity in the networking space, adjusting strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Align sales objectives with company goals, working with senior leadership to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Sales Execution & Lead Generation
- Lead the sales efforts for network solutions by engaging with IT decision-makers, including CIOs, network engineers, and procurement heads in target industries.
- Prospect and generate new business opportunities through a combination of cold calls, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
- Present enterprise and campus network solutions, including network optimization, cloud-based networking, Wi-Fi coverage solutions, and network security, to clients through engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals that align solutions with client needs, addressing specific pain points and requirements.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring consistent service quality and satisfaction in managing their network infrastructure needs.
- Provide post-sales support to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of network solutions, addressing any technical or operational concerns.
- Explore opportunities to upsell and cross-sell other networking services such as managed services, network monitoring, and upgrades to existing clients.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed targets in the enterprise network and campus network solution markets.
- Organize regular sales training and development programs to ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and sales techniques.
- Set performance goals and KPIs for the sales team, tracking progress and providing coaching to ensure continuous growth and success.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting
- Develop accurate forecasts and sales reports, tracking key metrics such as revenue growth, sales pipeline health, client acquisition, and market share for networking solutions.
- Provide senior management with insights and recommendations based on sales data, market feedback, and customer trends.
Requirements
- Experience: 8 to 12 years of sales experience, with a strong focus on enterprise IT solutions, networking infrastructure, and campus network systems.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of enterprise networking technologies (such as LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, network security, and Wi-Fi solutions), and familiarity with network hardware, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in selling IT infrastructure solutions and network services.
- Client Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, network architects, and IT decision-makers.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and mentoring a sales team, driving them to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions in a clear and engaging manner.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to understand client needs and craft tailored solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the assigned regions (Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad) as required.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
