The role of the Sales Learning & Development Manager is to partner with sales leadership team, identify business objectives and AOP priorities, identify capability gap areas, develop and implement learning and development solutions for sales teams that are consistent with sales Competencies and sales objectives

Accountabilities:
1. Identify Learning Needs: In partnership with Sales leadership teams, and Line Managers,
interviews, discusses, collects, and articulates Sales employees Learning Needs to clarify learning
objectives, performance gap areas and implements the best solutions.
2. Learning Needs Analysis: analyzes sales learning needs and develops plans to address the main
capability gap areas. Supports the Development of functional and personal development plans and
implements relevant learning solutions to advance the target sales competencies in line with the
approved learning and development policy.
3. Onboarding: Oversee and manage the onboarding learning content / system / process of newly hired sales employee to ensure a smooth transition to the company and smooth handling of the job.
4. Learning Design: Designs and develops customized Sales learning content to address sales learning
objectives and performance gaps to build the required knowledge, skills, or technical competencies.
5. Learning Facilitation: Facilitates instructor-led learning sales programs to engage participants and maximize knowledge retention.
6. Vendor Management: Develops and maintains an external network of professional contacts in PI
or other to ensure updated knowledge of accelerated learning technologies through the use of
Division’s Training and Development Centre.
Learning Transfer: Supports learning transfer in the workplace through different tools, and through
engagement of managers
8. Learning Environment: Initiates and promotes learning collaboration, advances learning in the
workflow, and plays a pivotal role in building a learning culture
9. Learning Impact: Evaluates the impact of learning interventions at multiple levels
10. Learning Systems: Good knowledge of using and improvement of learning management systems and eLearning platforms
11. Learning Documentation: Tracks progress of learning data / records, analyzes learning results, and decides the appropriate course of action for further improvement
