·       Hours of work: 37.5hrs per week, normally 9am – 5.30pm

·       Location: Stockport, Manchester (Hybrid role, ~3 days field based ~2 days office)

·       Sector: Supply Chain – Road Transport safety & security


Job overview:

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for new business acquisition and managing existing client relationships. We are seeking a motivated individual, who has a passion for sales, problem solving and a proven track record of hitting targets. The role will include management of accounts both within the UK and abroad, therefore some foreign travel will be required.

What you’ll be doing:

·       New business acquisition: Promote our product offering across target marks, both within the UK and abroad.

·       Account Management: Take on and build existing client relationships as their safety and security requirements shift.

·       Product promotion: Form part of our wider sales team to showcase our goods and services to a global audience through exhibitions and conferences.

·       Export Partnerships: Take responsibility for liaising with our trusted partner network, helping to translate our solutions into their specific market needs.


Who you are:

·       Proven track record: You have a proven ability to identify potential opportunities, present a solution and close sales in a B2B environment (minimum of 2 years’ experience required)

·       Positive & passionate attitude: You choose to believe new opportunities are out there, waiting to be discovered and have a desire to succeed.

·       Highly organised: With the assistance of the wider sales & marketing team, you’re comfortable organising your own diary managing your own sales opportunities.

·       Industry experience: Previous experience within the commercial vehicle / logistics / supply chain sectors is desirable, but not essential.

·       A good aptitude for technical sales within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but again, not essential.

·       Confidence: You’re confident in your ability to sell premium products within a niche market.

·       Strong Communicator: You have great interpersonal skills, helping you understand and empathise with our client’s security problems, whilst being able to communicate a resolution at all stakeholders.

·       Location: Able to commute to our Head Office in Stockport and travel across the UK & abroad.

·       Essentials: Holder of a full UK driving licence, passport & right to work in the UK, proficient with Microsoft programs.
