Summary

Position: Reservations and Revenue Manager

Department: Reservations


 

1. Revenue Management:

  • Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
  • Make real-time decisions on pricing adjustments and inventory control.
  • Conduct revenue forecasting and budget planning to achieve financial targets.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and allocation to maximize availability.
  • Plan short-term and long-term revenue strategies based on performance data.

2. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present comprehensive revenue reports, including:
  • Daily Pickup Report
  • Occupancy and ADR (Average Daily Rate) Analysis
  • Sales Performance Reports

3.    Morning Revenue and Occupancy Check:

  • Review daily pick-up reports to analyze bookings received in the last 24 hours.
  • Check current occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room).
  • Compare actual performance with forecasts and targets.

4.    Rate and Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and adjust room rates based on demand, competitor pricing, and market trends.
  • Optimize room inventory across all distribution channels (OTAs, direct website, travel agents).
  • Ensure rate parity across all platforms.

5.    Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Review competitors' pricing, promotions, and occupancy levels.
  • Analyze market demand trends, including local events or holidays impacting bookings.
  • Adjust pricing and promotional strategies accordingly.
