Job Duties Duties & Responsibilities: * Contribute to groundbreaking research, strengthening the university's innovation and scholarly output. * Support experiential learning initiatives, fostering mentorship and professional development opportunities for students. * Publish research findings to enhance the university's national and global visibility. * Assist in executing deliverables for major research projects, bolstering institutional growth and strategic partnerships. Requested Minimum Qualifications * Master's or Ph.D. in civil engineering, structural engineering, materials science, or transportation engineering. * Research experience in materials testing, structural analysis, or transportation systems Other Preferences for Consideration * Proficiency in numerical modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), and computational tools. * Experience with materials testing methods (e.g., concrete, asphalt, steel). * Knowledge of transportation infrastructure design and evaluation. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Strong technical writing skills for research papers and proposals. * Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and mentor students.
