About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to take charge of Reline NZ, one of New Zealand’s premier trenchless technology service providers.


As Renewals Manager, you will be responsible for leading our national trenchless renewals business, driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the General Manager – New Zealand, you will oversee a team of 5 direct reports and manage 30+ staff to ensure the continued success of our nationwide infrastructure renewal projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the business unit, ensuring operational efficiency and financial growth.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and successful delivery.
  • Drive business development, procurement, and contract negotiations.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and repeat business.
  • Foster continuous improvement and training within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.


About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven leadership experience at a senior level (General Manager or similar).
  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (BE or NZDE).
  • Extensive expertise in three waters maintenance and renewals.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and business management skills.
  • Experience leading technical teams in a similar industry.
  • Ability to manage revenue collection, from business development to project delivery.
  • Strategic vision to drive business growth and meet budgets/KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on innovation and efficiency
  • Ability to travel nationwide, sometimes at short notice.
