About the Company
Goodwork is a remote recruiting agency committed to driving systemic change. We're on a mission to help 1 million women from underemployed regions gain financial independence by connecting them with secure, long-term remote jobs at established companies in North America and Europe.
We specialize in recruiting talented professionals from emerging economies, providing employers with highly skilled remote talent at 3-6x more affordable rates than domestic hiring. To date, we've successfully placed talent from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Nigeria, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. Our rigorous multi-stage hiring process includes thorough application reviews, screenings, interviews, and practical assessments to help employers de-risk their hiring decisions while enriching applicant profiles.
Our work extends beyond traditional recruitment – we're actively contributing to global female economic empowerment and addressing systemic inequalities. As part of a larger Canadian business studio specializing in internet economy businesses, we bring together expertise from international development, indigenous education, technology startups, and entrepreneurial ventures.
OUR COMPANY VALUES guide our team and shape our culture:
We're headquartered in Canada, with a female-majority team of 14 members primarily based in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Europe, with additional contractors across Canada, the US, Europe, and Asia. Our culture is fresh, fun, and high-performing – supportive, solutions-focused, and committed to both growth and wellness.
About the Role

As a true lead, you'll focus on both team development and operational excellence, demonstrating a commitment to getting the job done right.
Our IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 3-6+ years of experience in recruiting operations, talent acquisition, or program management. Your analytical mindset drives data-based decisions, while your excellent communication enables tactful yet direct feedback. You excel at motivating teams, demonstrate strong recruiter judgment to unblock teammates, and possess outstanding time management skills. Most importantly, you take complete ownership of production quality and efficiency, finding solutions that drive results while maintaining high standards.
Your performance will be measured through recruiter happiness, system efficiency improvements, quality of team outputs, operational streamlining, increased recruiting campaign capacity, inbox zero, and consistent deadline achievement.
