About the Role

CloudFulcrum is seeking a proactive and organized Salesforce Release Manager to lead day-to-day delivery, stakeholder coordination, and release governance across enterprise Salesforce programs. This hybrid role blends project management and release execution responsibilities and is critical to ensuring smooth deployments, high team productivity, and transparent client communication.


Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

  • Serve as the central point of contact for project planning, execution, and issue resolution.
  • Build and manage project work plans, timelines, and task assignments across teams.
  • Monitor resource utilization and ensure billability tracking for both onsite and offshore teams.
  • Track project health, deliverables, and ensure scope compliance based on contractual agreements.
  • Facilitate status calls, daily stand-ups, and project review meetings.
  • Identify and manage risks, blockers, and dependencies, with clear mitigation plans.
  • Publish weekly status reports and executive updates.


Release & Change Management

  • Maintain and publish the Salesforce release calendar and coordinate environment schedules.
  • Host release planning meetings to align dev, QA, and business teams.
  • Prepare and maintain change request documentation, including approvals and impact analysis.
  • Build deployment runbooks, manage cutover windows, and validate post-deployment success.
  • Oversee rollback procedures in case of issues.
  • Create and distribute release notes and deployment guides.


Process Improvement & Automation Enablement

  • Proactively identify process gaps across the release lifecycle and suggest improvements.
  • Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to enhance deployment efficiency and repeatability.
  • Provide structured feedback to automation teams to help define new tooling, dashboards, or release accelerators.
  • Contribute to the refinement of CI/CD pipelines, metadata governance, and change tracking practices.
  • Support the definition and rollout of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge artifacts.


Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Liaise between DevOps, QA, functional teams, and client stakeholders to drive aligned delivery.
  • Ensure effective communication channels across distributed teams.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement of release processes and documentation standards.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce project and/or release management.
  • Understanding of Salesforce change lifecycle, metadata deployment, and Agile delivery.
  • Prior experience managing onsite-offshore teams.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive mindset with excellent organizational and coordination abilities.


Certifications

  • Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201)
  • Agile, PMP, or SAFe Certification
