Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Operator located in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The Quality Control Operator will be responsible for conducting quality control checks, utilizing analytical skills to assess product quality, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years experience in printing or packaging industries, especially in inspection roles.
• Hands-on experience with web inspection systems
• Familiarity with printed materials like labels, cartons, flexible packaging, or corrugated boxes.
• Ability to set up, operate, and monitor automated inspection machines used for detecting: Color variations, Print registration errors, Scratches, smudges, or streaks, Missing text or graphics, and Die-cut or foil stamping accuracy
• Basic knowledge of print production processes like: Offset printing and Gravure printing
• Understanding of tolerances and print quality standards
• Competence in using measurement tools (e.g., densitometers, magnifiers, calipers)
• Ability to perform in-process inspections and final quality checks
• Recording inspection data, preparing defect reports, and escalating issues
• Good visual acuity and color vision (may require passing a vision test).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail and strong focus for identifying small defects.
• Communication skills to coordinate with press operators and supervisors.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and production schedules.
