Summary
You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST within the Submarine and Maritime Industrial Operations Directorate (Code N97) of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying working knowledge of quality assurance and reliability principles, policies, and procedures. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Providing leadership, technical guidance, and direction to quality, vendor oversight, receipt inspection, and reliability management for assigned programs; 2) Reviewing Vendor Information Requests (VIRs) and ensuring compliance with procurement quality standards; 3) Analyzing vendor data, quality assurance requirements, and manufacturing processes; 4) Utilizing knowledge of military procurement and manufacturing processes, technical specifications, quality assurance standards, and management systems (i.e. MIL-I-45208 and/or ISO 9001) and inspection criteria for parts and equipment (i.e. Level I/SOC/FBW materials); and 5) Leading and managing projects, with an understanding of resource allocation, task prioritization, and team development.
