We are seeking a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and solutions for our applications and services. You'll work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery across a modern cloud-based environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and backend systems using Java, Selenium, and REST Assured (or similar tools).
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Build and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure proper test coverage and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Work within AWS cloud environments to test and validate infrastructure and application deployment.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution using tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Advocate for quality best practices and contribute to the evolution of our QA processes and strategy.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA automation with a focus on Java-based frameworks.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
  • Solid understanding of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
  • Experience testing applications in AWS environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
