Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in automation, with a strong background in Java programming and a proven track record in the banking industry.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement automation strategies.
  • Utilize Eclipse/IntelliJ for development and GitLab/GitHub for version control.
  • Perform database operations using SQL and Oracle.
  • Manage and track project progress using Jira in an Agile environment.
  • Integrate and automate mainframe applications.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.



Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in automation engineering.
  • Proficiency in Java programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Eclipse/IntelliJ, GitLab/GitHub, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with mainframe systems.
  • Previous experience in the banking sector is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
