QA Automation Tester

6 month Contract-to-Hire (W2)

Hybrid, 4 days/wk onsite (Alpharetta, GA)

$40-50/hour (D.O.E.)

A SaaS company specializing in cloud-based construction management software is seeking a QA Automation Tester to join the team and ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. If you have strong expertise in automation testing, scripting, and working within Agile environments, keep reading and apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Perform functional, regression, API, UI, and performance testing.
• Design and implement test frameworks for automation to enhance efficiency.
• Work with development teams to ensure test coverage for new features and bug fixes.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Use CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD) to integrate automation tests into pipelines.
• Perform basic SQL queries to validate back-end data.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Continuously improve test processes and automation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in QA automation testing, hands-on with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium for mobile).
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Significant experience with test management tools (TestRail, qTest, Zephyr, etc.).
• Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience with version control tools like Git/GitHub/GitLab.
