Join a mission-driven team building a groundbreaking clinical AI platform designed to accelerate innovation while prioritizing patient safety and data integrity. As a Software Engineer specializing in Data Infrastructure, you’ll architect scalable solutions to process petabytes of healthcare data, enabling AI developers to create transformative tools for global health challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize secure, auditable data pipelines to ingest and harmonize structured/unstructured healthcare data at scale (up to 25 PB).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical informaticists, data scientists, and health system partners to resolve data quality/regulatory challenges.
  • Build and maintain cloud-native ETL infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on transparency, efficiency, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Develop monitoring frameworks to surface data anomalies and operational insights for stakeholders.
  • Simplify technical complexity into clear documentation and workflows for diverse audiences.


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Python development across full SDLC (design, testing, deployment, maintenance).
  • Expertise in cloud platforms: Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), OLAP systems (Redshift/BigQuery/Snowflake), and containerization (Docker).
  • SQL proficiency and experience with large-scale ETL pipelines.
  • 2+ years collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Problem-solving mindset: Combines analytical rigor with pragmatic execution in ambiguous environments.


Preferred Skills

  • Healthcare data experience (PHI/HIPAA compliance, EHR systems).
  • Background in NLP, OCR, or ML tools (Python ecosystem or cloud services).
  • Startup experience and familiarity with data harmonization/QA processes.
