Description Job Title: Python Developer Duration: 18 Month W2 Contract Location: Charlotte, NC Required Pay Scale: $55-$65/hour Department: Global Technology - Data Supply Chain (GTDS) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our Global Technology Data Supply Chain (GTDS) team. This role requires deep expertise in Python, especially for data manipulation and transformation using Pandas. You will serve as the go-to expert on Python within the team-guiding development standards, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring best practices are followed. While this role does not include people management, you will play a critical part in enabling high-quality, efficient Python-based data solutions across GTDS projects. Key Responsibilities: * Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Python development within the GTDS team. * Develop, enhance, and maintain robust Python-based data pipelines and tools. * Design and implement data processing solutions using Pandas and other relevant libraries. * Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business partners to understand data requirements and ensure accurate and scalable solutions. * Promote Python development best practices including code optimization, modularity, and reusability. * Assist teammates in debugging and resolving complex Python-related issues. * Review and provide feedback on Python code and design patterns to ensure quality and consistency. Required Qualifications: * 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development, with a strong focus on data processing. * Expert-level knowledge of Pandas for data manipulation and transformation. * Familiarity with large-scale data supply chain systems, preferably in financial or enterprise environments. * Strong understanding of software development best practices and version control (e.g., Git). * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor others in Python without direct supervision responsibilities. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with GTDS (Global Technology Data Supply Chain) projects or similar enterprise data ecosystems. * Familiarity with data governance, ETL frameworks, or cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). * Knowledge of SQL, data quality frameworks, or data cataloging tools is a plus.
