What you’ll do

• Customer Data Platform (CDP) Integration focuses on consolidating and managing customer data from various sources to create a unified, real-time view of customer profiles. This role involves leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities alongside Adobe Real-Time CDP to enable efficient data ingestion, transformation, and activation across customer touchpoints. The Adobe stack provides advanced tools for personalization, analytics, and marketing automation, enhancing the overall customer experience.

What you need to be successful

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in back-end development, specifically with Python as the primary programming language.
• In-depth experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Dataflow.
• Strong understanding of data integration pipelines, including ETL processes and real-time data streaming.
• Proficiency in APIs, including designing and implementing RESTful services for data flow.
• Expertise in data modelling and database design, including relational databases (PostgreSQL) and “NoSQL” options (Firestore, MongoDB).
• Proficiency in query optimization and efficient SQL query writing, particularly for BigQuery or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git and GitHub.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Adobe Real-Time CDP and its data ingestion and transformation features.
• Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar platforms for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including data encryption and secure access protocols.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers like Pub/Sub, Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance regulations such as GDPR.
• Experience with BigQuery ML or other machine learning tools to enhance data insights.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting.
