About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Python Engineer to get involved in the design, development, and optimization of scalable web applications. This role is integral to the success of our projects and requires deep expertise in Python, modern web technologies, and best practices for building high-performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Technical Manager/Lead to design and implement effective technical solutions using your domain expertise
• Participate in project planning sessions, collaborating with both internal stakeholders and client teams
• Provide clear and realistic estimates for task completion, ensuring reliable project timelines
• Decompose features into well-defined, manageable development tasks
• Ensure high performance and reliability of applications through performance tuning and optimization
• Take an active role in code reviews, helping to maintain high standards of code quality and consistency
• Advocate for clean, maintainable code and promote development best practices across the team

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Python web development, with hands-on work in frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask on complex projects
• Willingness to engage in full-stack development and contribute across the stack as needed
• Familiarity working with databases and ORMs (SqlAlchemy, Django ORM, Tortoise ORM, etc)
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and knowledge of CI/CD practices
• Familiarity with Docker is nice to have
• Strong command of English, both written and verbal
• Experience working in an Agile environment
