Role-Puget Sound Network Operations (PSNOPS)

Location-Redmond, WA (Day 1 onsite)

Fulltime role


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain network service lines, Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Network (WLAN), adhering to standards with a focus on security.
  • Project deployments and coordinates tasks at client buildings and campuses in the Puget Sound area.
  • Identify technical and security concerns and work with the appropriate groups to report them.
  • Update status for all assigned projects through the defined tool per standard operation procedure (SOP).
  • Onsite and remote network support, including swift troubleshooting, equipment management, and assistance during infrastructure changes and office relocations.
  • Handle technical operations like rack and stack, cabling, and audits of cable rooms and equipment, reset or replace equipment in the event of a failure.
  • Checking/verifying routers, switches, power, patch cord/fiber, port verify/swap, etc
  • Support change in the infrastructure such as new deployment or incidents that may require physical changes in the networking environment, office relocations, refurbishments, or remodels, or in response to emergencies.
  • Proper management of end-of-life (EOL) equipment is essential, which may involve labelling, packaging, and organizing the shipment to client's designated entity or recycling location in collaboration with our Real Estate and Facility team.
  • Maintain equipment and licenses for Ekahau (or other tools) to support both project-based and DLM (Digital Lifecycle Management) based wireless activities.
  • Provide overall project management responsibilities for emergency services activities to manage, track, and execute compliance.
  • Lead coordination with internal teams such as Global Workplace Services (GWS), Global Support, Legal, and MSD.
  • Conduct randomly generated >5% quality check at the end of each day to ensure the data quality meet the requirements defined herein.
  • Act as the initial point of escalation for issues that may arise.
  • Provide consistent management and action accountability across each engagement.
  • Provide audit results reporting as required.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews as required by MSD.
  • Provide pipeline and forecast of emergency service engagements being planned.
  • Support a resident team of PSNOPS resources that will provide a consistent and predictable outcome when conducting port audit work at different buildings.
  • Plan and coordinate resources to execute site audit.
  • Ensure successful execution of each site audit to closure (i.e., per timeline and quality expectation)
  • Gather data and report progress on projects completion.
  • Ensure execution of site audit closure and hand-over.
  • Installation, removal, and troubleshooting of common area phone (CAP) endpoints within the greater Puget Sound area and beyond.
  • Providing smart hands work on CAP endpoints, including password reset and test calls.
  • Operationalizing enhancements to standardize service delivery.
  • Ability to terminate phone jacks on both the users and cable room ends
  • Proper patching of the user phone port to the correct ATA (or appropriate) cable room device.
  • Provide inventory management, including physical replacement, stocking, and the audit of hardware, cables, and additional components in cable rooms and storage bunkers.
  • Transport network equipment to appropriate buildings and IT cable rooms within the greater Puget Sound as it relates to MAC (Move, Add, Change) activity.


“Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $95,000]. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.”
