Job Description:
What You'll Be Doing:
* Research and identify federal contracting opportunities through tools such as SAM.gov, GovWin, and other market intelligence platforms.
* Analyze federal agency needs, procurement trends, and competitor activities to develop capture strategies.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, teaming partners, and subcontractors.
* Lead pre-RFP activities, including opportunity qualification, customer engagement, and intelligence gathering.
* Develop and execute capture plans, including win strategies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
* Manage the end-to-end proposal process, including planning, writing, editing, and submission.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical teams, and business development staff to gather content and ensure compliance with solicitation requirements.
* Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and schedules to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
* Write and edit proposal sections, including executive summaries, technical approaches, past performance, and management plans.
* Ensure proposals are compliant with federal regulations, solicitation requirements, and company standards.
* Coordinate and lead proposal reviews, including color team reviews (e.g., Pink, Red, Gold) to refine and improve proposal quality.
* Monitor and report on the status of capture and proposal activities, including pipeline development and win/loss metrics.
* Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in capture and proposal efforts.
* Stay current on federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and industry best practices.
* Manage the end-to-end process of preparing, submitting, and maintaining GSA Schedule proposals and contracts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and GSA requirements.
What We Are Looking For:
* 5+ years of experience in federal capture management, business development, or proposal development.
* Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes, including FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and winning federal contracts.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in proposal tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and building relationships with teaming partners.
* Knowledge of GSA Schedule contracts is a plus.
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid: 2 days in office/3 days work from home

This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).
Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$84,000.00 - $149,600.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
