Business Development Proposal Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations
  • Coordinate proposal timelines, deliverables, and team assignments to ensure timely submission
  • Write, edit, and format proposal content, including executive summaries, company qualifications, case studies, and project approaches
  • Ensure all proposals align with branding, messaging, and industry standards
  • Assist in identifying and tracking new business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis
  • Maintain a pipeline of upcoming RFPs and business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a library of standard proposal content, templates, and resumes for efficiency in proposal development
  • Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts, technical teams, and leadership to gather and refine proposal content
  • Coordinate proposal kickoff meetings, reviews, and final submission processes
  • Act as the point of contact for proposal-related communications internally and externally
  • Support business development and marketing efforts by preparing presentations, brochures, and other client-facing materials
  • Review proposals for completeness, compliance with solicitation requirements, and accuracy
  • Maintain databases of past proposals, project descriptions, and key personnel qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in proposal coordination, business development, or marketing, preferably in telecommunications, engineering, or technical industries
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with an eye for detail
  • Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Deltek, or similar) is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating RFP requirements and crafting winning proposals

Here is the pay range for this role below

Salary

$55,000—$70,000 USD
