Business Development Proposal Coordinator
Responsibilities
Lead the development of high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations
Coordinate proposal timelines, deliverables, and team assignments to ensure timely submission
Write, edit, and format proposal content, including executive summaries, company qualifications, case studies, and project approaches
Ensure all proposals align with branding, messaging, and industry standards
Assist in identifying and tracking new business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis
Maintain a pipeline of upcoming RFPs and business opportunities
Develop and maintain a library of standard proposal content, templates, and resumes for efficiency in proposal development
Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts, technical teams, and leadership to gather and refine proposal content
Coordinate proposal kickoff meetings, reviews, and final submission processes
Act as the point of contact for proposal-related communications internally and externally
Support business development and marketing efforts by preparing presentations, brochures, and other client-facing materials
Review proposals for completeness, compliance with solicitation requirements, and accuracy
Maintain databases of past proposals, project descriptions, and key personnel qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
2-5 years of experience in proposal coordination, business development, or marketing, preferably in telecommunications, engineering, or technical industries
Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills with an eye for detail
Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Deltek, or similar) is a plus
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
Strong analytical skills for evaluating RFP requirements and crafting winning proposals
Here is the pay range for this role below
Salary
$55,000—$70,000 USD
