Avantpage is seeking a dynamic, well-organized person to join the Avantpage Proposal Team. This person should have near-native proficiency in written English, understand key concepts of translation project management, and have an interest in sales.

Role Description

The purpose of this role is to support the proposals team and business development by participating in all parts of the proposal process with an emphasis on researching and creating systems to enable proposal submissions for Avantpage and Avantpage Life Sciences. This role will own certain functions that are integral to proposal operations, such as the Public Records Request Process, Internal and Provider Resume coordination, and Client References.

Tasks

• Own Public Records Request/Competitor Bid process for current and past bids
• Prepare Proposals within Hubspot and create folders
• Submit simple CA State Bids
• Coordinate client references
• Manage resumes to be submitted for bids (internal and provider)
• Create and help administer Avantpage’s proposals management tool (Loopio)
• Prepare and organize proposal components for submission
• Liaise with internal stakeholders
  
  

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive proposals.
• Native or near native proficiency in English
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of translation project management principles and the localization industry (preferred)
• Interest in sales and business development.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with proposal management tools such as Hubspot and Loopio (or similar CRM and proposal software).
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
• Proactive and inquisitive nature, with a willingness to seek out information and clarification as needed.
• Tenacity and a strong work ethic.
