Job Title: Property Manager Assistant (Remote, Full-Time)

Location: Remote (Supporting 15 Short-Term Rental properties in Melbourne, Australia)


Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Property Manager Assistant to support daily operations, guest communications, and cleaner coordination. This is a full-time, remote role with immediate start, ideal for someone with strong organizational and communication skills who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Guest Communications

· Respond promptly to guest inquiries, messages, and booking requests.

· Manage check-in/check-out instructions and ensure smooth guest stays.

· Handle concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy.

· Provide local recommendations and support throughout the guest experience.

· Encourage post-stay reviews and ensure ongoing communication.

· Act as the point of contact in the host’s absence.

Cleaner Coordination & Operations

· Schedule and coordinate cleaning operations via WhatsApp and Properly.

· Confirm quality of cleans post-guest departure; provide feedback via Properly.

· Track cleaning issues and resolve them quickly.

· Maintain a daily cleaning report for the Property Manager.

· Monitor and request restocking of cleaning supplies.

Property Maintenance & Quality Control

· Report and track maintenance issues and damages.

· Ensure properties meet Airbnb’s cleanliness and safety standards.

Administrative Support

· Assist with listing creation, SEO optimization, and updates.

· Manage booking calendars and make pricing adjustments via PriceLabs.

· Track bookings, cancellations, and reservations via Hostaway and other platforms.


Required Skills & Experience

· Experience in property management, hospitality, or customer service.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

· Comfortable using digital tools such as Airbnb, Hostaway, Properly, and messaging apps.


Preferred Tools Experience

· Hostaway – Property Management System

· PriceLabs – Pricing Optimisation

· Properly – Cleaning Operations

· Asana – Project Management Tool


WORK FROM HOME REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum 10 MBPS internet connection.
  • Backup internet connection (postpaid or prepaid).
  • Laptop or desktop with updated operating systems (at least core i5 or higher).
  • Backup laptop or desktop (at least core i5 or higher).
  • Headset with microphone for clear communication.
  • Willingness to use Time Doctor for monitoring.
  • Maintain a noise-free work environment during working hours.
  • Must not be currently employed full time elsewhere.
