Controller, Property Management (Full Time)

Growing organization within the commercial real estate space currently requires a true leader to join a fast-paced, high volume accounting team.

The ideal candidate is professional and has strong communication skills. This new hire has experience implementing best practices with continuous improvements of operational efficiency for the success of continued growth! Experience working within a commercial property management setting is ideal!

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all accounting operational functions
• Assist with financial planning
• Lead the accountingteam
• Year-end audit and tax planning & filing
• Monitoring internal control systems
• Oversee budget forecasting and cash flow management
• Preparation of financial reports
• Advise senior leadership team with cost reporting and financial analysis
• Ensure government compliance in all tasks
• Process improvements where needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years proven accounting experience
• 2+ years proven people management experience
• Professional accounting designation
• Superior communication skills
• Proficiency with current financial software
• Experience working in the commercial property management space
