Summary

Freelance Project Manager – Banking Sector

Location: Remote/Hybrid (depending on client needs)

Start Date: progressive onboarding in May, full time from June onwards

Contract: Freelance, full-time (extensions quarterly, project runs until mid-2026)

Daily Rate: Negotiable within agreed boundaries

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Project Manager to support large-scale regulatory transformation initiatives within the banking sector. In this role, you will collaborate across multiple departments and manage projects along the full credit cycle — from credit origination to risk, administration, finance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross-departmental projects across the entire credit cycle.
  • Manage project deliverables in line with agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Act as the bridge between business teams, credit risk, finance, and reporting.
  • Support the execution of regulatory transformation programs with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure clear stakeholder communication and reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of experience working in a banking environment.
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end credit lifecycle, including credit application, credit risk assessment, administration, and financial reporting.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale regulatory or transformation projects.
  • Strong ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Available full-time for the duration of the project.

Freelance Terms

This is a freelance position. Contracts are renewed on a quarterly basis, offering both flexibility and continuity. Daily rates are competitive and negotiable within pre-agreed limits, depending on experience and profile fit.
