Summary

Staff development, committee meetings, review of SOP's, environmental reporting, Health and Safety metrics leader * Review of monthly fleet performance reports, rationalization of invoicing, parts and service negotiations, bi-annual executive account review, account management and key influencer relationship growth * Manage, coach and mentor direct reports to achieve site operational metrics including work in progress and repair and return components (Toromont and customer) along with succession planning and career development plans * Working closely with the IT team to manage and update the Component Tracker as required * Collaborate with Product Support Reps to achieve a world class Component Tracker profile * Collaborate with Key Account Managers & Caterpillar on equipment and technology transaction/quotations/RFP's - Batter Electric Vehicles * Develop opportunity targets for Parts and Service growth while maintaining the lowest operating cost of surface and underground equipment * Co-ordinate and track cost per ton reduction projects with Customer, Toromont and Caterpillar staff including but not limited to FPC, Scale Studies, Site Assessments, etc. Must-haves for this role: * Completed post-secondary education with a focus in mining or operations management or heavy equipment * Minimum 5 years operational experience, preferably in a mining operation * Health, safety and environmental operational experience with an impeccable performance record * Superior communication, negotiating, analytical and organizational skills * Excellent customer service skills * Strong leadership, coaching and team building skills * Self-motivated and able to adapt to changing and multiple priorities * Proactive mindset with focus on planning and future dated orders * Organization skills with the ability to manage often competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline drive environment * Valid Divers License * Knowledgeable with Microsoft applications along with strong computer skills * Solid business acumen and the ability to oversee financial operations About Toromont Cat With over 7,000 employees and 56 locations from Manitoba to Newfoundland, Toromont Cat has a proven track record, industry knowledge, dealership infrastructure, and service mindset to ensure our Construction, Mining, and Power Generation customers succeed.
