They ensure that all project activities are planned out and resources are allocated efficiently. * Engages stakeholders to gather requirements, ensure alignment with project goals, and maintain open communication throughout the project lifecycle. * Manages project execution, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards. * Manages project resources, including team members, budget, and materials, to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget. * Identifies project risks, develops mitigation plans, and actively manages these risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impact. * Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors, and communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates, gather requirements, and ensure alignment with project goals. * Manages project budgets, ensuring financial control, and tracking expenditures to stay within budget constraints. * Ensures projects follow industry best practices and organizational standards, implementing processes to maintain quality and consistency. * Increased decision-making authority for project outcomes, making key decisions to ensure project success. * Identify, document, and baseline core business processes (business and technical), establish metrics, control plans, with an end-to-end focus. * Develop overall initiative status reporting, issue management, and ongoing management routines in addition to project status updates to executives, project sponsors, and stakeholders. * Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables; mentor others in project management practices; review quality of work and manages integration of team members' work. * Works with EPMO to ensure implementation of standards, processes, and support services. Job Qualifications/Requirements Education/Credentials * Preferred: * Degree in Business or Engineering * Lean Six Sigma certification or experience * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification/Scrum Master Certification * Experience in MS Project, MS Project Server, JIRA Prior Experience * Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years of experience in project management methodology, techniques, and tools Technical Skills * Knowledge of and competency in project management processes, including planning tasks and allocating resources, risk management, issues management, time management, financial management, HR management, working in teams, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documentation and record keeping. * Knowledge of financial industry including products, processes, platforms, and systems. * Experience in managing and delivering initiatives through Scrum/Agile methodologies. * Inter-departmental collaboration skills necessary to build relationships across business, technology, and operations, spanning multiple lines of business. * Ability to lead project teams and at the same time have a willingness to take on project tasks as needed to keep projects on track. * Proven skills managing project issues and risks to acceptable resolution. * Proficient with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office suite, Visio, and JIRA. * Experience with business process analysis, documentation, and ability to implement process improvements. * Strong oral communication, written and presentation skills. * Skilled at consensus building and conflict resolution management. * Comfortable with rapid pace and ambiguity. * Strong ability to influence results without authority. * Willingness to demonstrate and teach basic project management and process improvement techniques to others. The salary range for this full-time position is $80,000.00 annually - $100,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits Salary ranges are determined based on qualifications, level, and location.
