Summary

Summary: Manages and oversees all aspects of moderately complex projects to ensure they are completed on-time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing scope and schedule, as well as interfacing with internal and external resources in support of cross-functional teams. * Responsible for large projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline * Contributes to their team by applying their knowledge of discipline * Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus * Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role - continuing to develop specialized knowledge * Coordinates internal resources and external resources for execution of projects * Ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget * Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility * Ensures resource availability and allocation * Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress * Manages changes to the project scope and project schedule using appropriate verification techniques * Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques * Reports and escalates to management as needed * Contributes to creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation * Meets with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project * Tracks project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals * Develops comprehensive project plans to be shared with management as well as other staff members * Attends conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency * Develops spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs * Prepares and completes action plans * Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards * Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies trends, determines system improvements, and implements change Scope * Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills * Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers * Solves a range of straightforward problems * Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures * Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
