Summary

Job Requirement

  • Candidate should possess a Professional Certificates, Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication),Computer Science / Information Technology.
  • Preferably at least 4 years of related working experience.
  • Preferably Manager specializing in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills in English, Malay language for both spoken and written.
  • 1 Contract positions available.

Project Planning And Initiation

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining the scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources, including personnel, and equipment.
  • Establish a project timeline with clear milestones and deadlines, considering potential downtime and maintenance windows.

Vendor Management

  • Oversee the vendor responsible for conducting a comprehensive inventory of existing assets, services, and infrastructure, and ensure thorough documentation of all dependencies and interconnections.
  • Ensure the vendor gathers requirements from stakeholders to meet performance and security needs.
  • Manage the vendor in developing an equipment allocation matrix pairing new equipment with existing infrastructure.

Monitoring Of Device Configuration And Testing

  • Oversee the vendor responsible for configuring new assets or activities according to the project specifications.
  • Ensure the vendor implements a testing and quality assurance process to validate the new design or activities before full deployment.
  • Monitor the thorough testing of each component to ensure it meets performance and security requirements.

Manage The Deployment And Implementation Activities

  • Coordinate the deployment of new assets/activities across all sites, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Monitor the implementation process and address any issues that arise promptly.
  • Ensure proper documentation of the new IT setup, including configurations and physical connections.

Risk Management

  • Conduct a risk assessment to identify potential obstacles and challenges during implementation.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks effectively.
  • Establish a change management plan to handle any changes in the project scope or timeline.

Post-Implementation Review

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure a smooth transition and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to assess the success of the network refresh.
  • Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects.

Communication And Reporting

  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key achievements and any issues encountered.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete and accessible to relevant parties.
