Lead the project management, planning, and implementation of Insurance Broking Systems across APAC (Asia and Australia), ensuring delivery within specified timeframes and budget.

  • Oversee all project aspects, coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors, managing project teams, and reporting on project outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects to align with Gallagher's strategic objectives and adhere to APAC and global governance standards.
  • Facilitate the identification and implementation of business and technical solutions for specified business issues, maintaining clear communication with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

  • Develop and share comprehensive project plans with stakeholders to secure approvals.
  • Coordinate resources and vendors to ensure flawless project execution.
  • Deliver projects on-time, within scope, and budget.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, assist business proposals, and evaluate alternative business solutions.

Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with signatory requirements and follow-up with vendors to meet their commitments.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project and operational risks.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate project team members proactively.
  • Delegate tasks based on team members' strengths and experience.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Present and report progress at executive project prioritization and steering committee meetings.
  • Report on financial performance including actual costs against approved costs, to prevent over-expenditure.
  • Complete project handover and final costing during closure.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in IT system implementations.
  • Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in broking systems; Novidea experience preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of premium funding, insurance placement, renewals, and broking financial processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of problem and change management techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment, understanding cultural differences.
