Job Description:
A large automotive company is looking to work with an experienced Project manager to help support a pilot program for digital TV's installations at 600 dealerships country wide. This person will be responsible for analyzing data from the pilot program and determining the best processes to use moving forward. They will then be responsible for creating a formal RFP and identifying and negotiating with vendors to determine the best vendor to support them on the countrywide tv installation project. They will then manage the relationship with chosen vendor and ensure they project is onetime, within budget and successful.
Required Skills and Experience:
5+ years of Project Management managing primarily Infrastructure projects
Extensive vendor management experience
Experience writing a formal RFP and negotiating prices with vendors
Experience managing hardware installation or refresh projects Background in purchasing and sourcing
Ability to read and understand contracts
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Compensation:
$60/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
