Project Engineer – COMAH

£55,000 - £65,000 (plus bonus and benefits)

A Project Engineer is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role, the successful candidate will manage the programme of works for the cleaning, inspection and repair of tanks, pipelines and other various projects .

This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £55,000 - £65,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonuses and benefits.

Overview of the Project Engineer role:

• Be a key contributor to the improvement of project management systems, procedures and workflows.
• Plan and manage the programme of works for Engineering Projects in line with company standards and relevant and UK / European legislation e.g. ATEX, PLSG, API, EEMUA etc.
• Develop the scope of works based on 3rd party inspection reports/data.
• Develop budgets and forecasts for programmes of work.

Key skills required for the Project Engineer role:

• Proven experience in managing multiple projects
• Excellent stakeholder management skills both internally and externally.
• Possess a working knowledge of COMAH, MOC, and CDM regulations with previous experience of working within Major Accident Hazard environments.
