Summary

Position Summary:

 

The Project Development Officer – Geodetic Engineer shall provide technical services and assistance to the Project Managers, or the Technical Team Lead based on his or her technical competency to support the project development activities of various wind farm projects of Triconti ECC Renewables Corporation (“the Company”).

 

He / she shall likewise be involved in Surveys, Land Acquisition, and in Health, Safety, and Environment activities as the project assignment requires.

 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

1. Project Development

 

a. Play an active role in any development stage by providing valuable technical assistance to the project team in accordance with his / her assigned technical role or competency.

 

b. Prepare or review technical documents, presentations, reports, material studies, or other documents relevant to the project, based on his / her technical role.

 

c. Operate, monitor, or maintain tools or data issued to him / her in the performance of his / her duties on the assigned technical role.

 

d. Handle assigned project deliverables, and participate in planning, organization, or control of the project in coordination with the local and international project teams, internal and external stakeholders, and / or appropriate government or regulatory body.

 

e. Create and conduct technical presentations, project reports, management reports, and others that may be communicated to a technical or non-technical audience.

 

f. Conduct site visit (this includes rendering of the actual technical service on site, as needed), evaluation, field studies, legwork, and / or local stakeholder management and coordination relevant to the development and completion of the project.

 

g. Conduct research on readily available data and innovative technologies, trends, best practices, or legislation which can be applied to the projects.

 

 

2. Surveys

 

a. Perform surveys for the projects and determine orientation and tracts of land including boundaries, size, and shape using geographic information systems and geodetic survey equipment when necessary.

 

b. Manage the conduct of surveys to determine exact positions, measurement of points, elevations, lines, areas, volumes, contours, or other feature of land or sea surfaces whichever is applicable.

 

c. Manage and maintain a database of geodetic and related information including coordinates, survey, plans, location plans, development plans, and others.

 

d. Review, validate, and ensure accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted onsite.

 

e. Implement cadastral lands in geographic information system and AutoCAD.

 

 

3. Land Acquisition

 

a. Provide expert knowledge and technical consultation that are relative to the Land Acquisition activities of the Development Team for the projects.

 

 

4. Health and Safety

 

a. Handle the effective implementation of the Health and Safety Standards to his / her assigned projects and collaborates with the internal Health, Safety, and Environment Team of the Company.

 

b. Serve as the Safety Officer of an assigned project in compliance with the safety and health policies under the Renewable Energy Safety, Health, and Environment Rules and Regulations.

 

c. Represent the Company for other safety accreditation or certification of the projects with relevant government agencies as needed.

 

 

5. General Ad Hoc Activities

 

a. Perform related ad hoc activities that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
