Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Engineer based in Metro Manila. The Project Engineer will be responsible for project management, project engineering, project planning, and communication tasks related to construction projects at Kwikbuilt Construction Corporation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparation of cost estimates for the preparation of price proposals for bids and variation orders.
- To provide technical guidance on assigned projects and plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering practices and procedures are followed / applied in the preparation of project plans and proposals.
- To perform personnel functions by supervising and inspecting the performance of site workers and cadet engineers to ensure that work progress according to schedule.
- To work closely with the Project Manager / VP – Operations to schedule work and set priorities and act as the backup for calls when there are emergencies.
- To coordinate with the Logistics Division the purchase and delivery of required materials for the completion of a specified project and ensure that supply of material required are maintained in the prescribed condition.
- To establish and coordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule and to ensure that all the tools, machine and equipment being used in the work site are maintained in the prescribed condition.
- To prepare reports and schedule project planned activities, to show and monitor that project development is progressing according to schedule and within budgetary guidelines and submits the same to the Project Manager.
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly accomplishment report and frequent coordination with Accounting Department for Monthly Project Billings.
- To make sure that Certificate of Completion are secured from clients immediately after the projects have been completed.
- To produce, sign, and seal As-built Plans as required by the client and any stakeholder.
- To administer demobilization tools, machine and equipment after each project completion.
- To perform other duties as may be required by the superiors/ management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Architecture, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- Must be eligible as a candidate for PCAB Sustaining Technical Engineer
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCad. Knowledable in VBA a plus.
- Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
- Must have completed a 40 hour DOLE Accredited COSH Seminar
- 3 Full-Time position(s) available.
- Must be ready for provincial assignment.
