Summary

Job Details:

To support and monitor the delivery of all programs and women’s services. To ensure that all educational frameworks and programs are designed in alignment with Al Mujadilah’s mission and vision and are delivered to a high-quality to ensure participant satisfaction and learning impact.


Key Result Areas:

  • Support the Programming Manager and Women’s Services Manager in all aspects of program and service design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Contribute to the development of programs, services and impact strategy frameworks.
  • Act as first line of general enquiry for programs and services and liaise with instructors and students.
  • Develop and deliver new online and in-person programs and evaluation reports.
  • Develop the yearly programming calendar and work with the Programming Specialist to gather relevant data.
  • Organize and execute yearly women’s retreats.
  • Develop curricula frameworks for priority theme areas in conversation with experts.
  • Work alongside with the Communications team to ensure program and service information is disseminated in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Contribute to CCEC events, initiatives and physical/online publications to communicate program information.
  • Build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in EC, the broader community, and other institutions with an interest in Islam and women.
  • Coordinate with the Events Team to ensure the smooth delivery of all programs and services.
  • Conduct research on women’s religious programming and services locally and internationally and identify gaps and potential areas of growth.
  • Other reasonable tasks as assigned by Supervisor.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Islamic Studies, Psychology or related fields. 2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience. Minimum of three years of experience in administrative and program management support roles.
  • Experience in an educational institution in program design, development, and evaluation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical skills; able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proactive approach, and the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and experience using digital and social media tools; Competency across a range of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in a customer facing environment and knowledge of how to address complaints and service setbacks in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Understanding of the Muslim education sector as it relates to public outreach.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with enthusiasm and motivation to facilitate the growth of the Center.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
