Milton Town School District seeks two skilled Special Needs Programming Specialists to join our dynamic, fast-paced, student-centered high school-level teams. Qualifications: Bachelors level or ability to effectively demonstrate the required competencies. Experience delivering instruction to students with intensive needs and/or speech and language impairment. Must demonstrate competencies after receiving formal training. Must demonstrate the ability to attain a working knowledge of assistive technology devices and augmentative communication approaches. Ability to work well as a team member and with students in an active, fast-paced setting. Must meet Highly Qualified status. The hours are 6.5 hours per day and 32.5 hours per week.
