Summary

Job Title: Aerospace Program Scheduler II Job Description We are seeking a Sr.-Mid Level Candidate to work with program managers, engineering staff, and finance teams to standardize and develop resource-loaded program schedules. The candidate will support the development of proposal schedules, manage dependencies, and generate executive reports. This role involves automating program planning processes and integrating key milestones across various programs. Responsibilities * Collaborate with program managers, engineering staff, and finance to develop standardized program schedules. * Support program managers in creating proposal schedules, outlining tasks, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables. * Develop scheduling approaches for program dependencies. * Generate schedule summaries for briefings and executive reports. * Develop processes and tool suites to automate program planning for RFx responses, new program stand-ups, and annual budget submissions. * Create integrated portfolio schedules tracking key milestones and dependencies. * Maintain and update program schedules regularly. * Implement schedule performance metrics to support program managers. * Build 'what-if' scheduling tools for risk assessments and program trade studies. * Continuously evaluate and improve scheduling processes for efficiency and effectiveness. * Gather feedback from project teams and stakeholders for process improvement. * Manage and track portfolio schedules and develop dependency trackers. * Develop processes and tools to integrate dependencies with the program of record. * Report on government-furnished equipment dependencies. Essential Skills * Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, and Confluence. * Experience in project scheduling and program planning support. * Strong skills in schedule management. * SAP experience is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Ability to work effectively with program managers, engineering staff, and finance. * Experience in developing and managing reporting metrics for high-level schedules. Work Environment The candidate will provide program scheduling and planning support for government contracts, agreements, and internal development programs. They will use tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and SmartSheets to facilitate program planning, schedule management, and dependency management services. As the SAP contract lifecycle management tool suite is onboarded, subject matter expertise in linking SAP tools with program schedules will be essential. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
