Job Description
The Environmental Compliance Program Manager (EC-PM) will work with New Product Development and Sustaining teams to ensure our products comply with all applicable environmental and chemical regulations. This role involves monitoring and analyzing regulatory compliance laws, rules, and regulations while maintaining an effective product compliance program to mitigate business risks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure product compliance with all applicable environmental and chemical regulations.
- Monitor and analyze trends and changes in regulatory compliance laws, rules, and regulations.
- Establish and maintain an effective product compliance program to prevent or resolve product impacts and delays while minimizing business risk.
- Maintain Environmental Compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure Environmental Compliance timelines align with product launch plans.
- Effectively communicate and work with legal counsel, engineers, technical specialists, and management in a cross-functional, global environment.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of chemical regulations or consumer electronics.
- Experience working with suppliers to collect compliance documentation and data.
- Ability to write and present compliance regulations to leadership.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary global environment.
- Ability to collaborate with team members in the US and Asia.
- Capability to work with both internal teams and external suppliers.
Work Environment
This role requires 100% onsite work with flexible start and end times. Core hours are 9am-5pm PST, with potential shifts from 8am-5pm, 8:30am-5:30pm, or 9am-6pm PST. Free parking is available on site. The campus offers amenities such as a cafeteria with discounted food and free coffee. Training will be provided once onboarded, and 1 international trip a year only
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95.00 - $105.00/hr.
