Description
At Microboard, we’re not just making products—we’re powering innovation in the aerospace, defense, and medical device industries. As a
Program Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for some of our most exciting and high-impact customers. You’ll lead projects from start to finish, build relationships that last, and collaborate with top-tier teams to deliver on what we promise. This is a role for someone who’s ready to grow fast, make a real difference, and have their voice heard.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the face of the project.
You’ll own the full customer experience—from planning and communication to making sure everything stays on track and under budget. This includes:
- Managing all things financial, operational, and customer-related for your assigned accounts.
- Being the primary point of contact for customers—answering questions, solving problems, and celebrating wins.
- Translating customer needs internally so our teams stay aligned and on mission.
- Tracking and improving performance metrics like quality, delivery times, and inventory.
- Helping identify and grow new business opportunities through relationships and trust.
- Negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance.
- Owning program schedules and working cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and production teams.
You’ll Also Get To:
- Lead program reviews and present results to customers and our leadership team.
- Guide internal teams to deliver what was promised—on time, every time.
- Manage risks, clear roadblocks, and find creative solutions.
- Monitor material, tooling, and testing needs to prevent delays.
- Handle change orders and make sure updates are smoothly communicated and executed.
You’ll Thrive Here If You:
- Are a natural leader who loves problem-solving and connecting the dots.
- Communicate clearly and confidently—with customers, teams, and execs.
- Like to work at a fast pace and pivot quickly when priorities shift.
- Believe in building strong relationships, not just checking boxes.
- Have a proactive mindset and are ready to own your work.
You’ll Need:
- 4+ years of experience in project, business, or operations management (bonus points if you’ve worked in contract manufacturing or highly regulated industries).
- A Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, or related field). MBA is a plus.
- Solid experience with ERP systems (Infor a plus!) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Confidence reading engineering drawings and navigating complex product builds.
- Familiarity with GAAP, supply chain strategy, and forecasting.
Certifications That Help (But Aren’t Required):
Why This Role Rocks
This is not a “stay-in-your-lane” kind of job. You’ll have autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape how we serve customers and grow as a business. And if you’re aiming for career growth, this role is a launchpad—top performers are on track for
Senior Program Manager or beyond.
Bonus Stuff
- Comfortable, modern office space
- Regular company events and celebrations
- Work with a purpose-driven team that values impact and collaboration
- Opportunities for mentorship, learning, and leadership development
- You're not just a number—your voice matters here.
