Purpose: As a Program Manager and core team leader, you will be at the center of the program's execution, ensuring detailed collaboration across functional teams. You will be responsible for critical planning, tracking, and execution processes to ensure the project's success. This role requires someone innovative, collaborative, and detail-oriented, capable of thriving in both structured and fast-moving environments. This role will report to the Program Director, Laminar. You will be responsible for: Under (e.g. limited supervision) and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: * Leading a cross-functional team including engineering, quality, operations, regulatory, clinical, and other key stakeholders as required. * Driving the overall program strategy to achieve product milestones and deliverables with design controls framework. * Drive decision-making on trade-offs to effectively manage the triple constraint (time, scope, resources), while ensuring timely escalation of challenges across functional teams. * Managing and tracking project metrics, timelines, and milestones using dashboards and performance tools. * Coordinate cross-program activities to ensure alignment and collaboration, driving toward overarching organizational objectives and program success. * Monitoring product changes and their alignment with regulatory requirements, such as IDE study updates and PMA submission strategy. * Supporting the clinical team to meet regulatory and operational goals by facilitating communication and ensuring alignment. * Publishing program data and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. * Effectively communicate plans and decisions with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization. * Use of influence to drive effective action and build momentum within a highly matrixed organization. * Create a culture of transparency and accountability within the project team. Education: * Bachelor's degree in the field of engineering, business administration, or related field is required. * Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international may be required based on project needs) Required Skills/Experience: * Minimum of (8) years of project/program management experience, ideally in MedTech or life sciences industries. * Proven experience taking medical devices to market, preferably having led programs through IDE, PMA, and commercialization phases. * Strong understanding of IDE/pivotal studies, regulatory environments, design transfer, and quality systems. * Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, clinical, and supply chain groups. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguities and set clear priorities. * A sharp eye for metrics, milestones, and data-driven decision-making. Preferred Skills & Experience: * Additional training/certifications such as PMP, MBA, 6 Sigma. * A blend of start-up/small company agility and large multinational corporation experience * Product development expertise, with prior work in cardiac devices or related fields Other: * This position can be based in Santa Rosa, CA or Irvine, CA and requires up to 20% travel The anticipated base pay range for this position is [$127,500] to [$172,000] The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
