Keysight is looking for creative and passionate Technical Program Managers that will help us deliver useful and successful new products, solutions and/or services leveraging our unique strengths, market presence and industry expertise. You will drive a cross-functional and multi-regional team to build and deliver innovative new products, leveraging your strong organization, collaboration, and communication skills. An ideal candidate will communicate effectively and continuously with multiple stakeholders, leverage their technical expertise, and deploy their leadership and management skills to guide and drive the execution of complex product development initiatives in a timely and cost-controlled manner. As a cross functional program leader, this role is accountable to the executive management team, responsible for implementing and/or maintaining methodologies to effectively manage the overall program and ensure that it achieves intended business objectives. Responsibilities Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of product development, from concept to delivery. The Program Leader must create, implement, and maintain cross-functional program and project schedules, Project charters, Decision logs, Status documents and any other tools/techniques/processes to help drive programs forward. Responsibilities include driving effective meetings and developing relevant project-specific documentation. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Business Development, Sales, Product Marketing and Sales. Lead cross-functional teams by emphasizing shared goals that are aligned with business priorities. Drive sticky decisions with stakeholder buy-in, clear documentation, and thorough assessment of factors that impact critical decisions. Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of relevant technologies and methodologies to guide project execution. Identify opportunities to actively reduce technical and schedule risk using critical thinking and collaborative problem solving to implement reasonable mitigations. Navigate ambiguity to move project forward. Prioritize and present detailed trade-offs within project teams and to executive leadership. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to project timelines, resources, and technical challenges. Strategically optimize workflow to balance resources, bring focus, and achieve business objectives. Budget and Resource Allocation: Manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track progress. Communication: Facilitate clear communication among team members, ensuring alignment on project goals. Quality Assurance: Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and technical requirements. Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management processes and workflows. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer/data science, electronic/electrical engineering or equivalent 10+ years of proven experience managing complex technical projects Proven ability to partner with, influence and drive collaboration amongst cross-function and cross-regional teams Strong leadership, organization, communication (verbal, written, presentation), and problem-solving skills Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, simple language Ability to balance technical details with strategic thinking Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) Experienced in New Product Introduction (NPI) hardware development cycles Be comfortable in an environment of ambiguity, where decisions need to be made quickly with limited or partial information 5+ years of successful demonstrated leadership experience managing a team(s) Curiosity and Attention to Detail Preferred Qualifications Experience with product development and innovation Knowledge of industry-specific tools and technologies Certification in project management The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.
