Job Description:
The Program manager is a senior leader who combines the expertise of project management, enterprise consulting, and account leadership disciplines and will serve a vital role on the Aionic professional services team. This role will be expected to lead and oversee the planning, implementation, managed services and tracking of multiple simultaneous assignments with specified deliverables for technology implementation projects with our enterprise clients.
Who will you work with?
As a member of the engagement management team you will work directly with Aionic’s delivery operations and professional services leadership. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients (across a range of stakeholder groups) and Aionic’s internal project teams to ensure high quality and on-time delivery and ensure a positive experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Consult and guide clients through software implementations programs – ensuring that multiple, concurrent project teams work together to successfully deliver high impact results
- Coordinate and lead discovery and initial consulting phases surrounding corporate readiness, software selection and road-mapping
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects; Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Be able to understand and communicate usage dynamics and business benefits of various software's across the customer experience and ecommerce technology stacks
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor, track and communicate progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report on risk and project status - and escalate to management as needed
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform ongoing risk management to increase project success rates
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Client Facing Responsibilities:
- Identify Opportunities: Actively seek and identify new business opportunities during client Programs, recognizing areas where additional services or solutions can be provided.
- Build, manage and maintain positive relationships with core stakeholders during each client project
- Client Strategy Alignment: Align client needs with company services, ensuring the scope of work expands as clients' business needs evolve.
- Revenue Targets: Understand corporate goals for revenue and other key metrics.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience proven working experience in project management in the Digital Marketing/Commerce/Program/Communications spaces.
- Retail experience preferred
- Experience in a similar role at a consulting / professional service organization
- Technical Experience: Track record of successful client service projects in mobile application design, ecommerce, customer experience, content management, loyalty, infrastructure replacement or website implementation
- Successfully manage budgets up to $500K to $1 million at large publicly traded companies
- Project Management Certifications Preferred: CSM or PMI-ACP
- Experience with working in multiple project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall and most importantly a hybrid
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite level stakeholders and regularly driving conversations and strategy planning sessions
- Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technology landscapes
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently
Computer Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile development & Collaboration tools such as Lucid, Confluence and JIRA is preferred
- Expert usage of MS PowerPoint for executive level presentation is required
- Expertise in project management software (Smartsheet, MS project etc) is required
