Summary

Company: MEC Energy Services, LLC Job Title: Program Support Manager Responsibilities Responsible for providing support to the Resident Managers and direction to the Washington office support staff; for recruitment/staffing, including providing the best qualified candidates for positions; and, for ensuring satisfactory performance under this contract. The Project Support Manager will act as liaison between the contractor site office and the Contracting Officer and the Washington-based ACORs (henceforth ACOR-Ws for EUR and EAP), as well as assisting with the negotiation and preparation of proposals for any contract modifications. A Top-Secret security clearance issued by the Department of State or Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) is required. The Project Support Manager must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and at least six years’ experience with project management and/or support functions on similar size or larger labor contract, including providing personnel, payroll and logistics support functions. Additional education or other experience may be substituted for project support experience subject to Contracting Officer approval. Must have good interpersonal skills and good ability to communicate orally and in writing. Responsibilities Constructs and presents reports on project statuses, offering updates as necessary for meetings with General Officers, Senior Leaders, stakeholders, etc. Upholds facility appearance and functionality standards Coordinates maintenance support requirements and delivers first-phase maintenance support for designated government facilities Manages and executes responsibilities within a classified facility, ensuring compliance with all security protocols Exhibits familiarity with basic maintenance techniques, such as installing fluorescent light bulbs, moving or assembling office furniture, and operating a hand dolly Possesses a comprehensive understanding of safe maintenance practices, emergency preparedness, and continuity of operations planning Has familiarity with basic maintenance techniques, such as installing fluorescent light bulbs, moving or assembling office furniture, and operating a hand dolly.
