CBTS is searching for an Epic readiness Program/Project Manager experienced in preparing healthcare facilities to move to EPIC EMR system. This position will coordinate with the client PMO to help lead an Epic Readiness Project.


This PM would be responsible for creating a project plan for discovery of IP assets, IP asset documentation/descriptions, End of life and procurement needs to meet all initial EPIC readiness pre-qualifications. The PM and their team would be responsible for all Epic readiness pre-qualification requirements prior to a go-live. They would manage budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring a smooth transition readiness to Go-Live.


Key transitioning responsibilities include:

  • Project Planning & Scope Definition:

Developing detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.

  • Team Management:

Collaborating with internal Client PMO team, internal readiness team, Epic personnel, hospital staff, and other stakeholders.

  • Change Management:

Facilitating communication and collaboration to ensure buy-in and support for the implementation from all relevant parties.

  • Risk Management:

Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may arise during the implementation.

  • Communication & Reporting:

Maintaining clear communication with Client PMO team, stakeholders, providing regular progress reports, and addressing concerns promptly.

  • Go-Live Readiness:

Ensuring the hospital is ready to launch the Epic system, including IP asset pre-identification, governance and compliance requirements, data migrations/backups, system configuration, etc.


Requirements:

  • Must have 8 Years of Project/Program Management Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, budgeting, resource allocation and knowledge of Epic pre-requisites/readiness required.
  • Experience working on Epic focused projects (any and all modules, client is moving 95% to Epic, including Epic AI products)
  • This project will entail a large-scale end user device inventory assessment across every hospital and clinic location, a Gap Analysis, WiFI assessment, and more
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and software implementation.
  • Understanding of healthcare workflows and processes in order to gather required asset information.
  • Must be able to be onsite in Indianapolis, IN Site 2 days a week minimum.
