Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-oriented Program Manager to lead and coordinate multiple continuous improvement initiatives aimed at driving Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance within our Indianapolis operations. This role will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are guided by data, executed using a DMAIC-based strategy, and result in measurable operational gains.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in aerospace program management, a strong background in QCD metrics, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage multiple continuous improvement projects within aerospace manufacturing operations
* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
* Oversee all phases of program execution-from planning to delivery-ensuring alignment with strategic goals
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technical, cost, and delivery targets are met
* Track program performance using QCD KPIs and DMAIC methodology to drive process improvements
* Provide regular updates to leadership and internal customers; manage expectations and risks proactively
* Review and approve relevant project documentation including technical specifications, certification packages, and testing reports
Required Qualification:
* Minimum of 5 years of program or project management experience in the aerospace or defense industry
* Proven track record managing cross-functional engineering or operations programs
* Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Gantt charts, risk registers)
* Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing systems, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
* Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and team coordination capabilities
* Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
* Master"s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field
* PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
* Experience managing projects focused on lean, Six Sigma, or advanced manufacturing technologies
* Familiarity with emerging aerospace trends and digital transformation tools
