LOCATION: Madison, WI
SALARY: Salary in the range of $40,842 - $49,414 annually with a State of Wisconsin benefits package. Salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
Job Details
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Provide administrative support for policy, procedural, and legal issues related to the court processing of child in need of protection or services (CHIPS), termination of parent rights (TPR), minor guardianship, and adoption cases. 2) Answer, direct and respond to telephone calls and emails. 3) Provide administrative support for committee meetings and virtual and in‐person training events. 4) Review and process banquet event orders, invoices, and travel vouchers. 5) Maintain records and files. 6) Assist the CCIP Director and CCIP Legal Advisors in their work assessing outcome measures, complying with program requirements, and providing technical assistance to the circuit courts. 7) Staff various statewide committees and workgroups. 8) Monitor grant expenditures and documentation, including calculating in‐kind time.
Qualifications
REQUIRED: 1) High School diploma or GED. 2) Knowledge of public policy and procedure development, program implementation and evaluation. 3) Skill in verbal communication and facilitation. 4) Skill in computer software and applications used in an office setting. 5) Ability to work effectively with a wide range of professional disciplines. 6) Education or experience providing administrative support to a program area. 7) Education or experience assisting with public policy and procedure development or program implementation. 8) Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. PREFERRED: 9) Knowledge of state and federal child welfare laws. 10) Knowledge of juvenile court operations and practices.
