Department: Digital Employee Platform
Location: Egypt, Cairo.
Product Configuration Expert: the key player in analyzing the business requirement, writing technical & functional specifications, proposing solution design and configuring the system to deliver an E2E product that meets business expectations. He/ She ensures long term solution design stability, maintainability, compliance & data integrity according to the CCH landscape & standards.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Product Lifecycle & Roadmap Mgmt:
o The configured epics & features deliver value, meet business objectives and support the product’s roadmap
o Contribution to the product lifecycle (from conception to retirement / innovation, new capabilities, continuously improving usability & performance), to the product’s vision, roadmap, backlog and epic / feature prioritization.
o Follows the product / feature releases of technology platform(s) used. Active member of selected vendors’ user communities (e.g. external communities of WD, CSOD, Viva); Proactively identify use-cases for the new technologies, new features of technology platforms used
• Development & Configuration:
o Backlog is always up to date for the product.
o Features defined reflecting functionalities to be delivered, and features are turned into user stories; User stories defined.
o Configuration to deliver features & stories are aligned with Architects, product technical and functional documentation in place
o Architect’s input incorporated into sizing of user stories; Quality of sizing / effort estimation improves sprint by sprint
• User Interaction & Visual Design:
o User stories delivered per sprint plan.
o Align solution UI/UX aspects with an expert/vendor, align UI/UX proposals with product owner Business stakeholders as well as Countries, plan A/B testing when appropriate
o Understands drivers of software usability; uses the best-practice usability check-list during configuration and the configured solution comply with usability best practices
o Feedback continuously obtained via sprint demos, and it is incorporated into the final feature solution
o DevOps mindset is across all agile teams
• Quality Assurance & Testing [Mariana Andrea to extend]:
o Quality gates established
o All quality gates passed (e.g. user story testing in test environment, test cases are linked to user stories, failed test retested)
o Built-in quality mindset demonstrated, peer reviews utilized
o Candidates for test automation established and automated
• Release Management:
o Product improvements released reliably.
• Platform Service Resolution [Angel & Bratan to review]:
o Business continuity
o System availability
o Level 3 (L3) incidents resolved within SLA
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Analyzing business requirements and ability to design solutions for relevant business processes
• Expert functional knowledge in the respective tech platforms including Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD).
• its integration to other platforms and interface specification,
• data structures, data exchange, data consistency and reporting
• E2E configuration and customizing of respective solutions, including documentation
• Testing, release management, go-live preparation and support
• Strong understanding of SAFe, agile delivery frameworks special focus on Customer centricity, Design Thinking, DevOps, developing in cadence
• Effective communication, collaboration and influencing/negotiation skills
• Curiosity: Desire to understand the business and its processes in depth
• Detail-Oriented: Ensuring accuracy in requirements and documentation
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
